Sanjoy is a mechanical engineer specializing in thermal management systems, additive manufacturing, and design optimization. With over 8 years of experience in engineering design, simulation, and product development, he has contributed to industrial and energy-focused solutions with a strong emphasis on performance-driven design.
He holds a Master of Applied Science (MASc) in Mechanical Engineering, with research focused on lattice-based compact heat exchangers for high-performance, space-constrained applications. His expertise spans design for additive manufacturing (DfAM), thermal system development, and engineering validation.
At Hexergy, Sanjoy leads the company’s technology commercialization, business strategy, and industry partnerships, driving the transition from research innovation to real-world deployment. His vision is to position Hexergy as a leader in next-generation thermal management solutions.

With over 15 years of experience, he has led extensive research in additive manufacturing and energy-efficient engineering systems.
His work focuses on bridging fundamental research and applied engineering, collaborating with industry partners to develop scalable and impactful technologies. His academic and professional background provides a strong foundation for innovation in complex engineering systems.
As Chief Technology Officer of Hexergy, Dr. Khondoker leads the company’s research and development strategy, ensuring technical excellence and guiding the evolution of high-performance, compact heat exchanger technologies.
